# Domein koppelen aan hostingpakket

Wanneer een domein ergens anders geregistreerd is kun je deze koppelen aan je webhostingpakket. 

## Zet deze stappen om je domeinnaam toe te voegen in cPanel

1. Log in op je cPanel account.
2. Navigeer naar het gedeelte **Domeinen**.
3. Druk op **Create A New Domain**.
4. Voer de **gewenste domeinnaam** in.
5. Voer hier je domeinnaam in en zorg dat het vinkje Share document root (/home/jouwdome/public\_html) with “jouwdomeinhier.nl”. aangevinkt staat.
6. Druk op **Verzenden**. Het domein wordt nu voor je aangemaakt.
7. Wijzig de nameservers van je domein naar ns1.hostingpower.nl en ns2.hostingpower.nl

Het kan enige tijd (4 tot 72 uur) duren voordat de wijziging van de nameservers overal is verwerkt.

Als je een domeinnaam via het klantenportaal van Hostingpower registreert dan voegen we deze automatisch toe in cPanel. Het kan even duren voordat de domeinnaam zichtbaar is.
