# Bestandsbeheer gebruiken (File Manager)

Bestandsbeheer (File Manager) wordt gebruikt voor het uploaden van bestanden, artikelen, afbeeldingen etc. naar je website. In cPanel vind je deze optie onder de sectie Bestanden (Files). Kleine bestanden tot 25-30 MB kunnen met deze file manager worden geüpload, maar voor grotere bestanden is het raadzaam om gebruik te maken van een FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client. Hoewel File Manager niet zo uitgebreide functionaliteiten heeft als een FTP-client, werken de basisfuncties goed en kunnen ze nuttig zijn wanneer nodig.

1. Log in op je cPanel account.
2. Navigeer naar **Bestanden (Files).**
3. Klik op **Bestandsbeheer (File Mananger)**.
4. Klik op **Uploaden**.
5. Klik op **Selecteer Bestand**.

### Verborgen bestanden weergeven in de File Manager

1. Klik rechtsboven op **instellingen (settings)**.
2. Het dialoogvenster voorkeuren wordt weergegeven.
3. Schakel het selectievakje **toon verborgen bestanden (show hidden files)** in.
4. Klik op **opslaan (save)**.

De verborgen bestanden zijn nu zichtbaar in de File Manager.
